Prophecy — the album by Riddle Row

Prophecy — Riddle Row album cover: a graphite drawing of a woman in returning lines

“I knew how this would end.”

The album

Prophecy follows a woman looking back with enough experience to question the explanations that once kept her going. Desire, jealousy, motherhood, resentment and enduring love move through songs about what she chose, what she accepted, and what she still cannot put down.

Rooted in 1990s alternative music, the album moves between textured guitars, dark rhythms and spare acoustic arrangements. One intimate female voice holds it together: vulnerable, sensual, sometimes angry, and increasingly willing to hear herself clearly.

A recurring line changes meaning across the album, raising a question she cannot quite settle: did she recognize the ending, or spend years helping it come true?
